Simple glazes accentuate textured surfaces of projects. This is a multi-wheel porcelain soup bowl. The bowl is ridged on the outside. The handle was thrown when the bowl was thrown and attached the next day. The entire project is glazed clear and looks bright white because of the porcelain. Because of the simple, clear glaze, the ridges are very apparent. The form and texture of a project can either be highlighted or hidden depending on the glazes used.
